Packin Club ("Packin Club", "we", "us", "our") operates packinclub.com (the "Site") and provides compostable packaging products and services to businesses across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it, in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly — when you fill out our contact or quote request form, subscribe to our newsletter, or email/call us.
• Information collected automatically — technical and usage data collected via cookies and analytics tools when you browse the Site (see Google Analytics below and our Cookie Policy).

2. Contact & Quote Form Data

When you submit our contact or quote request form, we collect:

• Name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Product of interest, industry, and estimated monthly volume
• Any message or details you choose to include

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and follow up about our products and services. Submitting the form requires you to actively confirm your consent to this Privacy Policy via a checkbox before the request can be sent.

3. How Form Data Is Processed

Form submissions are sent securely to a Google Apps Script endpoint that we operate, which records the submission in a private Google Sheet accessible only to authorised Packin Club staff. We use Google's infrastructure as a data processor for this purpose; Google does not use this data for its own purposes. We do not use the form data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our Site — such as which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general traffic sources. Google Analytics may collect your IP address (in truncated/anonymised form), browser and device type, approximate location (city/country level), and on-site behaviour.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you accept analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner on the Site. If you decline, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics data is collected. 5. Other Third-Party Services

Besides Google Analytics, the Site uses the following third-party services, each of which may process limited technical data as part of normal operation:

6. Data Retention

We retain contact and quote form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain business records, and no longer than necessary for these purposes or as required by applicable law. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained longer for trend analysis. You may request earlier deletion at any time — see Your Rights.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site and process enquiries (e.g. Google, as described above), under confidentiality obligations
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights

We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

8. Your Rights & How to Make a Request

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request erasure of your data
• Withdraw consent for processing at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal)
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
• Lodge a grievance regarding how your data is handled, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including restricting access to form submission data to authorised staff only. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Visitors

While Packin Club is based in India and this policy is written with the DPDP Act in mind, our Site may be accessed from outside India, and some of our third-party service providers (such as Google) process data on servers located outside India. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection standards than your own.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for business use and are not directed at, or knowingly collecting data from, children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected with a new date at the top of this page.
