Pouches are made for standard loaves, baguettes and bun packs. When you request a quote, send the length, width and height of your packed product and tell us how you close the pouch. Leave room for the closure so that the pouch seals without straining.
How to choose the right thickness
Bread pouches are made in 20 to 30 microns. Soft sliced bread and buns pack well at the lower end. Baguettes and crusty loaves have harder edges that can rub through the film in transit, so the higher end suits them better. The pouch has a side seal, with an optional tin-tie, and a full-clarity body.
Disposal and storage
Used pouches can go to composting together with bakery waste where an industrial composting facility is available. Our specification states that the pouch returns to soil within 240 days in industrial composting. Store unused pouches in a cool, dry place; shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
