Pouches run from 4"×6" to 8"×10". Choose the size from the portion you distribute, such as a handful of sweets or a boxed serving, and leave room to seal the pouch. Smaller pouches suit daily darshan, and larger pouches suit festivals and special offerings.
How to choose the right thickness
Pouches are made in 20 to 35 microns. The lower end suits dry items. The higher end suits heavier or sharper contents. If your prasadam is oily, such as ghee-based sweets, test samples before ordering in volume. The pouch has a side seal with an optional zip.
Disposal and storage
Used pouches can go to composting together with food offerings where an industrial composting facility is available. Our specification states that the pouch returns to soil within 240 days in industrial composting. Store unused pouches in a cool, dry place; shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
